“If my soccer career were over, I would still come here because of the people.” – Lorrie Fair

Lorraine Ming “Lorrie” Fair was a professional women’s soccer player who racked up 120 appearances and seven goals for the United States Women’s National Team from 1996 to 2005. She was rostered for one World Cup Team and three Summer Olympic teams.

The five-foot-three-inch midfielder was born in Los Altos, California in 1978 and played for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1996–1999. Her twin sister, Ronnie Fair (now Veronica Fair Sullins) was also a member of the United States Women’s National Team, marking the first time a pair of sisters played together on the national team, when they played versus England on May 9, 1997 in San Jose, California.
